Guy Beaulieu, senior consultant with PBI Actuarial Consultants Ltd., has over 25 years of experience in finance, economics, and compensation consulting. He has been working as an investment consultant since 1999. Guy specializes in developing and revising investment policies, manager searches, performance measurement as well as the development of management structures.

Guy joined the PBI investment consulting team with the acquisition of ACBA in 2012. As head of the investment practice with Actuaires-Conseils Bergeron et Associés Inc. (ACBA), Guy has consulted to, and took investment decisions for over 20 pension plans. At ACBA, Guy was responsible for the economic forecasting model and the yield projection matrices. He was also behind the publication of economic and salary forecasts. Prior to joining ACBA, Guy worked for over 5 years as a consultant specializing in compensation, economic analysis, and strategic planning for various employers in the public and semi-public sector.

Guy holds a Master of Science in Administration Management with a focus on Applied Economics and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Montréal. He is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and of the Association de la retraite et des avantages sociaux du Québec (ARASQ). He is also a member of the Programme de gestionnaires en émergence du Québec (PGEQ) and of the recruitment sub-committee of the Réseau PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) Québec.

Guy also has considerable experience as an expert witness for various arbitration cases and has testified as both an economist and compensation expert. He has led training workshops for committee member, taught workshops on pension investment policies, and presented at various industry events.
