On March 21, 2013, Minister of Finance James M. Flaherty presented the 2013 Canada Federal Budget titled Economic Action Plan 2013 – Jobs, Growth and Long-Term Prosperity. The Economic Action Plan 2013 focuses on job creation initiatives, enhancing the financial system, investments in infrastructure, and Aboriginal development. As well, a number of pension and benefit initiatives are included.
