On February 11, 2014, Minister of Finance James M. Flaherty presented the 2014 Canada Federal Budget titled Economic Action Plan 2014 – The Road to Balance: Creating Jobs and Opportunities.
The Economic Action Plan 2014 focuses on cutting costs in order to “return to budget balance” and achieve a surplus of $6.4 billion by 2015-16.
