Tasks and responsibilities
- Processing of plan expenses, as needed
- Monthly reconciliation of plan expenses to custodial financial statements
- Provide allocation of expenses on a monthly basis to custodian for certain plan accounts
- Preparation and correspondence regarding deposit of Employer Contributions to custodial account
- Preparation and completion of documents with respect to the plan’s annual GST/HST/QST Rebates and forms
- Preparation and completion of documents to regulators with respect to Plan Amendments
- Assist insurance consultant regarding insurance coverage for third-party service providers
- Assist plan auditors with plan audit
- May be involved with organizing Spring and Fall client meetings including:
- Preparation of Scheduled meetings Itinerary
- Arrange for hotel/meeting spaces
- Negotiate with the hotel on contract terms
- Coordinate accommodation room block
- Coordinate with 3rd party service providers
- Coordination of meeting materials from 3rd party service providers
- Travelling to the Spring and Fall client meetings to ensure that there are no logistical issues, problem-solving at the meetings along with being on call during meetings and events
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or related experience
- Demonstrates attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to work under deadlines and on several projects simultaneously
- Commitment to superior client satisfaction
- Strong Excel skills

- Is a team player, yet is self-sufficient and shows initiative
- Able to easily adapt to a new work environment
Terms and conditions of employment
- Permanent position
- 40-hour weekly schedule
- Salary will be based on experience and our internal policy in force
