Webcast on Climate Change Risk hosted by the Canadian Institute of Actuaries

While it is increasingly apparent that we need to include climate considerations in our daily work as actuaries, this is a brand-new area for most in the profession, and it is not always clear where to start. With the Canadian Association of Pension Supervisory Authorities draft guideline: “Environmental, Social and Governance Considerations in Pension Plan Management” providing the framework for pension plans to consider, this webcast will provide ideas for actuaries as to how we could consider climate risk in our work.
